Education
Graduated from City University in 1986 with an Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering (BSc. Hons).

Background
Employed at Abbey Road Studios for 7 years as House Engineer and Producer.

Whilst at Abbey Road worked with such artistes as Toyah, Siouxsie And The Banshees, Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, Blur, Brian Eno, The Stone Roses, Marc Almond, Bonnie Tyler, Pete Murphy, The Faith Brothers, Beautiful South, The Hollies, Sting, John Williams and George Benson.

Also worked with all the major orchestras (including LPO, LSO, RPO etc.) on feature films and classical recordings such as Aliens, Robocop, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Cry Freedom, Showboat, Porgy and Bess and High Society.

Freelance
Left Abbey Road Studios in 1993 to become freelance Engineer / Programmer / Producer, forming Starcrest Management for this purpose. In 2004 Gareth Cousins Music Productions was formed.
